Hotmail has me trapped. Do I have to re verify my email if I change it?

So I found a new MMO, which requires a signup with email. Whatever, I'll use my 'defo gonna get spam from this' email from Hotmail. This account is signed to that one (no offence) but when I tried to get in, I get this 'call us overprotective' shit asking for a veri code through alt email or phone.

I'm not giving them my phone number. I do not have an alternative account and I tried having the activation code sent to a new created Hotmail account. That account then asked for a verification code as well. So I use a 10 minute email address, which was really useful because they asked me to wait a FULL MONTH FOR MY CODE.

Essentially, Microsoft has locked me out of my account. Permanently. This isn't a virus, other people have had this issue as well and are understandably pissed. I can't get into the account at all. This is, in a way, ransomware made legal as they want my number to spam. There is no way around it.

Basically (TL;DR get on with it) I really really could not verify ANYTHING you'd send me through my hotmail email, so would I have to verify anything if I changed email accounts? I'm not planning to do this by the way, but it is just in case I need to. If you did have to send me a vericode anyway I could arrange it to be sent to the new address?

It would send a verification to change email but i'm guessing if you brought it up personally with Duke you could bystep it

Sheeit, hope he would do that. I can't get in at all. Thanks mate!
You could try changing it, and if you come into problems, send in a ticket to support.

I'd suggest messaging me when i'm online to change it, if you're worried.
