I've started a project to recreate vessals from the Hiigaran fleet as seen in Homeworld 2. I'm trying to shoot for a 1:1 scale and to give you the option of what color they come in, just like in Homeworld 2. As the vessals get larger, they will take longer to make. I'm mainly focusing on the manned vessals/ones I can make function similar to how they work in-game, so unmanned ships like scouts and minelayer class ships most likely won't be incluided unless the demand for them is high. As the vessals get larger, they will take longer to make. I may work on the Vager as well once I finish the Hiigarans. I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I should make vessals like the shipyard or the Pride of Hiigara as they are extremely huge, as in they break the game at 1:1 scale huge. I may have to reduce their size, but we will see. If there is a particular vessal you'd wish to see next, post below and I'll get to work on it. Otherwise the Pulsar Gunship Corvette is up next.



UPDATE: I've decided to do the colors configs after I finish all the ship classes. The method I used became much more complicated with the addition of turrets. They will come, just after I have finished the ships. (Also some people weren't too happy when I dumped about 50 different files of the same ship on the site.)



Naming Convention for Colors

Just as in the game, you will be able to pick your colors. The code I follow is as follows:

BK=Black

BU=Blue

BW=Brown(or orange or what ever you wanna call it)

GE=Green

GY=Grey

P=Purple

R=Red

W=White

Y=Yellow

Ship links will be followed by either one or two of these abbreviations. The first will be the primary color followed by the secondary. Example: BU W means that the vessals primary color is Blue and it's secondary is White. If only one color is present like BK, that means both the primary and secondary are the same color, which in this case is Black.

Off to a good start. I\'ll be keeping an eye on this. Your bomber looks alot better than your interceptor though, did you spend more time on it?

I was actually just considering making the hiigaran destroyer myself, seeing as i\'ve just done the vaygr one.

The interceptor was the first one I did, so naturally you learn a few things along the way. Also the shape of the bomber made it easier to transfer into block form. You can still tell its an interceptor though, especially from a distance.
