Holding CTRL to roll stops flight inversion.

That's all, that's not the way it should be- you're probably aware of this. it should be noted though because it makes playing inverted flight controls pointless.

Also you can\'t rebind CTRL to any other key, which sucks. I want roll on some other key so I can have ascend/descend on SPACE/CTRL but I can\'t do it because CTRL always rolls my ship.

Before playing Starmade, i also was used to Ctrl/Space buttons for moving up/down. But i really recommend getting used to Q and E keys for that, as they are in the end much more convenient to use for it.

It\'s hard to use Q, A and W/S at the same time, and sometimes you need to, it\'s alot easier to use your other fingers for this.
