help with embedding a youtube

Hey guys, Forge here,

I have just updated to my new signature only to notice that this:
MEDIA=youtube]SNgNBsCI4EA[/MEDIA
no longer works in my signature.
instead, to keep a video in my signature, I have to do this:
youtube]SNgNBsCI4EA
anyone know how to fix this? please?
sorry, but I had to take out some brackets for it to finally be see-able.

Videos were never intended to be permitted in signatures, they have been removed.

But why does it still show it as embedded in the preview?

Edit: I just tried adding a video inside a spoiler, that's how I know. It was supposed to be in the spoiler in my signature.

It's permissions based not feature removed.

Why are then gifs allowed? They are annoying if they are in signature.

A spoiler should have not such a low limit of links inside it. You can put more content into your user-page, but most peoples like to open spoilers more than having to click their browser's back button.

Because gifs can be successfully restricted in dimensions, whereas videos can not.

Definitively not the worst one, because it does not change brightness 0..100..0% each frame :D

With stylish you can darken signatures, but many will not know how to disable gifs which do not end with.gif but maybe picture?blabalabla=you-cant-disable-me
