Hardened Armour seems TOO hard?

I've got a fighter and it's doing 50 damage against shields but against the hardened hull it does 0 damage. Is this intentional? Or is it a bug? Anyone else having the same problem?

Its a known bug that weapons without effects can do no damage to Hull atm :u Might be what your experiencing.

Bug #490 - Hardened hull invulnerable against no-effect weapons

Fixed in next release.
