Gun wont fire right?

I made a cannon on my Ship:




But it only shoots like this:

First off your cannons are only 1x1 and you have 50 1x1 cannons. 99% of those cannons are not firing because they are blocked by other blocks. You need a row of 1x50 and have it in the same pattern u do now for it to work.

I\'ve had a cannon that\'s been a line on 1x1 followed by a hull block before to fire it as if it was a \"beam\" weapon with no trouble. Wherever I place a weapon, no matter what weapon it is or its size, it only fires from one point which is in empty space between two of my ship\'s areas

And replace them correctly like i told you and you should fix it. You ask for help then deny my advice. Ironic.

You dont need to have an empty space in front of the cannon, the AMC, missles and salvage beam all ignore collisions with the vessel they are fired from.
