Give Stations their own Core?

    Not sure how this would work but say a station core works like a ship core to a degree but it is 3x3x3 rather than the 1 block size. Other than that you could get into it like a ship core and could still deploy a build block like normal.


    The main reason for giving stations a core is to make it so we can do things like reboot them for example but also allow for other things.

    Again not totally sure how this would work and the core would need to be movable.

    You can already reboot stations iirc, the only issue with stations and rebooting was that armour did not refill (which it does now).

    But yeah, there is absolutely no reason to add a new block to do what you should be able to do with a build block. People want to remove Korebab, not add more.

    there is no justifiable reason, or at the best, a good reason, to give stations a station core block.

    Really sounds like a waste of block id when we got the build-block.
    However I could understand if people wanted the first station block you buy to be a build-block instead of a boring little grey armour block.
    And as mentioned by previous people in this thread the problem with rebooting was solved a hotfix or two ago.

    OR how about just use the ship core as station cores.
    Perhaps rename it to just "Core".

    then how much would u buy it for? ship cores are 300 credits in a shop but to spawn a station it is a lot more so that u cant spawn a station as soon as u start

    Why not make the first Block when spawning a ship or a station a Build Block? (I guess the answer has something to do with the code)
    For spawning a ship you would only need a Build Block, for spawning a station a Build Block and some credits.
