Getting lost in docked cores

I seem to always end up getting stuck or spending a lot of time trying to get into different cores docked to my ships or station.

Anyone have any tips/suggestions on how to get where I want?

Arrow keys? They let you switch from core to core.

Well I regularly get stuck in one docked entity with no way of backing out.
I agree with the OP, there needs to be a better system to navigate between docked entities, preferably with the option to exclude those that you don't want/need to change to.

This please. I keep accidentally entering an AI turrets and then having to travel to them to manually turn AI back on.

Also I keep entering my lift core by accident. Maybe I should just put a thruster on it and make it a secret emergency escape pod...

You probably know you can already de/-activate all AIs via the [Del] structure menu - but that of course requires that all turrets are controlled by AI, it won't help if you have some on AI and some set to manual control...

I believe I tried to use that once and it did not work. That is to say I tried to activate them via the menu, then I floated out to check the BOBBY's and they were not activated. I'll play around with it tonight when I get home to see if I'll have any more luck.

Did you use the option under the rail menu or the other one? The rail one works for me, but I think the other one olny worked on old docking. No idea if they have done anything about that.

Hell I wish I could just jump into a specific core from that menu, with like a list of docked entities under rails.

Ah, I bet that was my problem - I went under Turrets. I'll try your suggestion, thanks!
