My point is, something of mine that I didn't consider to be particularly big got assigned the class name used for asteroids and dwarf planets. And I found this amusing.
    I can see how.
Yeah, the mass stuff is flawed right now. I'll have to do something about that. Maybe 1M and upwards will become planetoid. Maybe even 2M. I'll have to see.

I yet have to see a ship over 1M mass that is finished

That's true, a lot of people have started ships that could end up well over 1mil mass but always end up abandoning the projects...

Well maybe not 2M,I'll play around with it for a bit though... I'll also try and do something with the new FTL possibilities for ships and stations.

Great list but like others before me mentioned, it's better if you adjust some mass requirements. All of my capital ships are pretty much planetoid classes. I have other ships in the making and those will be more than 100 000 mass too :( Hull only and I already went above 1.1 mil blocks...

    Examples:
641 000 mass: http://starmadedock.net/content/warhammer40k-battle-barge.1275/ (this one is probably near planetoid if you ask me)
    430 000 mass: http://starmadedock.net/content/pillar-of-autumn-refit.956/
    295 000 mass: http://starmadedock.net/content/ajax-class-cruiser.882/

I consider that last one as a light weight capital ship Xd. A titan/planetoid class should be ships that you work months on.

I agree. I'm currently upgrading my 3.2 mil block ship and I'm not even done...
