GameConfig file, how to add other astronaut tools to it?

Just wondering since there seems to be several systems of code going on here for that, how do you add the other tools to the starting inventory? I know some have sub IDs and for others it seems to be just strait up name them in the tags but how do I tell what to use and when for them?

This may or may not help just pointing to where some stuff can be found.

Look in the directory Starmade - data - models

All the standard StarMade tools are there. Both in the gear and character folder.

Starmade - data - config

Holds all the .xml files that tells Starmade how stuff must behave.

It's a bit of trail and error. But maybe some of the devs can spend a few lines on this since you can't be the only one that wonders about that.
