So I was playing star was battlefront II a few hours ago, then got back on StarMade, and thought how awesome it would be to be able to something like that for a game to play with friends on StarMade.

I wanted to know if anyone else liked this idea, if your looking for some fun things to do with friends on StarMade. Here is what I came up with. Each team made a ship that doesn't move that, on opposite ends of a sector to give them plenty of room.

Next you would give each team a certain number of fighters, and drop ships, as well as the new NPC crew members aboard there ship, and going with them if they want, now here's how you would be able to recreate things from the game to be pretty fun.

Alright now you would make the bridge on the ship a good 15 blocks away from the ship, still attached of course, the you put the faction block in, and filled with dis-integrator explosives to be able to take out the faction module. Each station would have limited amount of shields maybe about say 20 shield-capacitor, and 20 shield dispenser, that way the fighters can get through it if they can't be intercepted quick enough. Now you did that and the faction module is taken out, that means you can now use plex doors on there ship, so you can get in as long as they remember to close it or else you could get in sooner, and they should probably put the shields so that they will also be caught in the explosion so they won't regenerate once your aboard.

Fighter time! You can honestly use any ship design for this, I usually stick with UNSC type ships from the Halo books/games. Each team will get 2 Drop Ships(good shielding, but no weaponry), 6 light fighters (little to no shields) 4 medium fighters(still very few shields but bulky with immense firepower, and 2 heavy fighters(some shields, still not much so the fighting is fast paced). As well as 10-15 cannon turrets(no shields so can be taken out by fighters easily). Now this will be optional for you to do as well make a space station somewhere near the ship, with a ship module so you can guy more fighters as you go if you don't want to have a limited number, this way you can keep buying them from your catalog.

Boarding of course the final objective will be to take out the core through infantry means. You board the enemy ship, and then the core should be placed a little bit away from the docking bay, so that you can get to it to take it out, but enough space so that you can have a final firefight, to try and fight off the enemy. once they board your ship, that space station I said you may want to use for the ship module will be sitting in the docking bay It will only be 1 block if its not going to be the shop module that would be a plex undeathinator so that they can stop you from spawning once there aboard your ship. However of course the game isn't over until you've taken out the ship core.

That is my idea for a StarMade mini game if you have any idea's to add to this, or can think of any ways to improve it I would love to hear them so comment below!

Thinking about doing this Miningame? Design two ships of your own you think would be equal for the Flag ship in this game post them here after you've made them I would love to test out other peoples Creations for this Mini game!!

This sounds great. I highly recommend folks make suggestions for ships from the community content to serve as evenly-matched goal-ships. They should have similar sizes (or maybe they should be "stations" that look like ships?), but look very different, or at least have different color schemes. Regular ships can be used and gutted, to provide an extensive interior, so capabilities can vary widely, since those capabilities will be lost when the ship is gutted for this minigame. That reminds me of three-and-four player capture-the-flag games. You could have more than two teams. Red, green, blue, yellow, etc...

@Linksees I recommend you make this a contest post (or start a new contest thread) to see who can submit the best new goal-ships, but before that, you might want to set up some additional ground rules for the goal-ships. Examples: No shields, up to 4 7x7x7 turrets for effect, no weapon linking, fly-through hanger midship, max size of 199x99x299, no logic, well-lit internal spaces, etc.

This mini-game could also be duplicated for a planet, with ground bases on opposite sides of a planet. You could have all kinds of rules to shake it up. Imagine rules like no ship bigger than 20x10x20 (hovertanks), less than 1:1 thrust/mass ratio (no leaving the planet!), random weapon drops at different points on the planet, medical cabinets in the bases and in random outposts, etc.

I would absolutely love to see a planet type attack on opposite sides of the planet, and Yeah I one sec I'll add a note to it saying comment a good ship!
