game studders every second

just got a new computer!
these are its specs:

i installed starmade and transferred my data with ease...
however, it now says that it's using too much memory and to adjust the max and minimum value settings on the starmade launcher...

this PC has tons of RAM to spare and uses an Nvidia graphics card so I'm not sure what kind of settings i have to use to get my game running smoothly. the whole game seems to work fine, i can fly, fire, do all sorts of things, its just that it freezes every second...

i also did everything in the "slow computers" thread in case you're wondering...

Allocate more memory to the game. Just because you have 16gb of ram, doesn't meant the game is going to use it.

First launcher screen, click options > Memory settings:

And change your values to something more suitable for your PC. These are my settings:

Make sure you have 64bit java before doing this.
