Whenever I try and launch the game, it crashes. It says it's a jvm crash, and i have tried downloading a new graphics driver. How can I fix this?

    Version: .14

Never added any mods or played on any servers with mods

To get the bug to happen, you need an intel graphics core. When I launch the game on singleplayer, it loads till 100% and quits. Whwn i ew opwn it, it tells me a jvm crash has been detected.

In this case, please delete all files in your /logs directory, start your game until the crash, and hit exit on the dialog.

Now zip the /logs directory and settings.cfg and send me the file please.

Will look into it, to check its the \'common\' Intel vs Java problem. (It may still be something else, but most likely this is due to outdated drivers and or Java-version.)

I tried, but it says my computer cant handle it. My version is 10.18.10.3412

Also, I\'ve tried to turn it into a zip file, but it won\'t work. Can I just sent you the file directly?

    Found something to notice:

Your game is running on the desktop directory,
please move to a proper (not windows protected) directory like C:\\Starmade

Beside that fact, your game hangs right after this line:

[2014-03-21 14:49:01] [GLFRAME] Content has been loaded

In my game the next line is:

    [2014-03-21 14:49:02] FOUND IMPORT: data/shader/shadow.glsl; on data//shader/cube/quads13/cubeTArray.fsh

I hope you didnt use the necro-bumped fix about fiddling around with that file.

Please try that thread for fixing it, since it looks like your game crashes at 100%.

I guess its java-version-related, because I cant see any reason or message, why it does not continue loading.

In case this is not helping, tra redownloading the launcher in a new emtpy directory and let it redownload the game via \'update and install latest\'.

In case nothing helps, please post the last line of the log.0.txt in your /logs directory.

So I moved it to C:/, but it says that there\'s no installation found in the desk top. So I redownloaded it, and I have two Starmade files - one in C:/ and one on the desktop.

I tried downloading one 3rd generation version and a new java, but it still doesnt work. I\'m downloading another version, so we\'ll see.

And what do I open log.txt.0 With?

    C:\\Starmade

The logs file is opened with notepad.

For easy and quick usage with few menu usage:

In that directory there is a
    graphcisinfo.txt
double-click on it. -> Notepad should open

    Now drag the
    log.txt.0
in that notepad-window to open it with notepad.

Not a nice way, but it saves the time to tell windows what a .0 file is and having to add many numbers.
