In the newest dev build (31-Jan-2014 17:16), there are several game-breaking bugs with pirates and structures. I have not done extensive testing with these, but I have seen them all happen in the same world.

- Spawn in any sector, including already generated ones. Loading and unloading the game seems to trigger it sometimes, even.
- Structure spawns are waaaaaaay too high. It is not uncommon to find a singe sector with a pirate station, 1 or 2 normal stations, and 1 or 2 shops in it. Flying in and out of range of a single sector can give you up to (in my test) 10 or so total structures. In a single sector.
Pirates:
- Spawn continuosly. At a rate of about 2/minute on average.
- Have unlimited money. They spawn almost always with the most expensive ship blueprint available.
- Sometimes attack ships in shop range. So far this only happens to unoccupied ships, as far as I can tell.
