Full Scale Federation Space Dock

This is my biggest build yet. The Federation Space Dock is a full 1 to 1 scale ship construction facility scaled to accommodate even a full scale Galaxy, Sovereign or Nebula class ship.

No, but it\'s oriented so hitting \"c\" will orient the ship in the cradle.

Chain docking sure helped out when docking big ships.

Here\'s the thing.... I\'ve noticed an \"eccentricity\" in starbase orientation. Starbase cardinal directions are rotated 90 degrees from ship cardinal directions. If you orient your ship with \"c\", then dock, your whole ship will flip 90 degrees to the right. So you have a choice. Orient your spacedock to align with the natural orientation of free ships or docked ships. When I started this project it was an easy choice. Big ships tended to need turrets. Turreted ships couldn\'t dock anyway. But I\'ve put so many hours into this thing that the thought of starting over makes me want to rage-quit So it is what it is. And it is aligned so a docking field will put a ship in sideways.

thanks for showing me that my WIP ship is tiny, now i feel bad because of how long it is taking to do
