Email your freelancer inspired blueprints to me at [email protected] with a small description and I'll add them to the server (if they are too big, only pirates will have access to them)




Features:

• Using a Garret's Hardcore Mod! (build blocks still enabled, mainly economy fixes) Link at bottom!
• Mob drops severly limited (though still existing...for now)
• Enough starting cash to get started (around 50,000) subject to change
• Blueprint saving and custom blueprint spawning OFF! (Blueprints will be limited to content created by admins and those designated as Freelancer themed factions. You can build your own ship from scratch all you want though!
• Increased Speed to 99 (not too fast, not too slow)
• Players who create factions with freelancer theme will be awarded some bonus starting credits http://freelancer.wikia.com/wiki/Factions
• Players can create freelancer themed ships to be available as blueprint uploads

I\'m not familiar with the other game, but it does provide a good ladder for role play in a fun way.

Updated server version file, but still running old version. If you are connecting now you need to have latest client though, even though the server is still technically the old version. (saw you try to connect BusterCrabb)

I don\'t really know Freelancer but I learn fast to do Ships

The actual community is cool too =)

You guys should try Freelancer Crossfire, it even has antialiasis, and makes from a 0.8 Gb Freelancer install to a 5.5 Gb high quality stuff install, including a fully extended storyline campaign (you get more time with Juni and the rest), and their server.

I tried to join but i got the \"EOFException\" error.

I can only assume that you have whitelist on your server. Is this the case?

If you don\'t have whitelist, the problem might be at my end. :/

There is no whitelist, usually that problem is due to the client not being updated or maybe you have a ghost login on the server? I restarted it a few times to avoid the second problem though

b) plans for the liberty VHF? (not sure if thats Discovery 4.85 specific)

I do accept blueprints for the server. Currently I don\'t have a list and only about 3 players have been actively submitting anything. I can start keeping a list here though. We are also now allowing some of the more popular freelancer mod ships.



And as features arrive in starmade we will definitly utilize them in interesting ways



(I hope for the abiliyty to create more NPC run factions other than pirates and trading guild)

Oh and no I don\'t have anyone planning to build that one yet. I was thinking of building some of the bigger ships for pirates to use today =P

Hello!

I will probably be spending a lot of time on your server in the coming days/weeks. I\'m a pretty good ship designer but I\'m not that familiar with Freelancer. My question is, are any of the ship renders from this page acceptable, because I don\'t know if they are all from the original game or from mods?

I warn you though, the page takes a LONG time to load due to all the pictures: http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=15020

So are any of those ships ok to try and design? (not counting the ones that are already in the catalog on your server of course)

Obviously I realize it would only get added to the catalog if it actually turns out good, but I just wanted to make sure I didn\'t end up designing something that isn\'t even from Freelancer. Thank you for your time and I hope to challenge my creativity on your server soon!

Yeah they are okay to design. Some/most of them are actually models from the game. (some are definitly from starfox, and battlestar galactica) and some are from freelancer mods. But we already have two ships from that mod anyway

Anyway as long as there is some way to tie it into freelancer it should be alright =P

The ships we have now are:

• Starflier Light Fighter
• Sabre Heavy Fighter
• Rheinland Humpback Freighter
• Praefect Cruiser
• Nomad Heavy Fighter
• Bounty Hunter Barracuda Heavy Fighter
• Anubis Very Heavy Fighter

And I\'m currently in process of making Osiris

I just want to throw this out there too. If anyone wants to help create some replicas of zones or planets from the game (like planet manhatten or something) let me know. I can protect those sectors from distruction or create empty factions to protect them as well =)

So, Pirates are about to get an upgrade. Players too if they can manage to take one down. Haven\'t put all the insides in yet, but it will be boasting a lot of Heat seeking missles =P Now it\'s not really proportioned 100% right but this thing has been a roal pain compared to all the blocky ships I\'ve made xD Lol
