Openings Statment from Captain Scarlet
Greetings and Salutations my Space Fairing Comrades and Brothers in Arms! Today i bring to you ( As my first post, and first major build) the vessel lost from time and space! The Glaive of Cadia! This Titanic hulk is the work of hours and days and painstaking labor to ensure the shell was armored to Imperial Standards and that the proper and most holy santifications of the Adaptus Mechanicus where in place~ The Vessel is the brain child of the Forge World of Caldaris along the Segmentum Solar, Far and Distant in a Realm wracked with war.
According to Blitzwings Ship classifications, this Vessels tonnage places it square in the middle of the Dreadnought Range,

While its large frame, may elude many into thinking its a battleship or an ironclad, such ideas would be for naught! Its in reality a Escort Craft, Crafted to assist titanic warships and larger fleets as a firesupport station and tanking warship where needed, its speed and agility max out at speed cap, and its hidden arsenal of weapons along with its displayed are more then a match for large scale vessels or even swarms of smaller ships. But it excells in its duty of protecting areas of vital interest and ensuring the protection of the various trade lanes and rouge sectors! Its a Symbol of Might and Strength, Its a Relic of a Bygone age! The Vessels frame was laid out earlier this month, and with the aid of my starwalt and ever present companion First_Mate_Meiling, we worked endlessly to craft a vessel worthy of showing our love for starmade!
Lore of the Vessel
Having its frame laided out in the early years of the Great Crusade, the Glaive was originally to become a true battleship, spanning the width and breadth of possible construction yards, But at the onset of Several interdictions by Ork raiders, the loss of much of the building materials left the yards of Caldaris at a grinded halt, instead of scrapping the early frame, the tech priests worked tirelessly and interwove the Standard Construction Template from a Cobra Class Escort ship, and that of the Dauntless Cruiser, into the Hall of this new hybrid of vessel. To avoid censure from the Adaptus Mechanicus, the ship smiths and tech priests, hastenly heralded the vessel as a Cobra, to avoid reprimand for dabbling in new designs and foregoing blessed templates.
For ten thousand years, this vessel has served the Imperium of Mans Segmentum Obscura's grand Battlefleet, during its life it has seen service in the starlanes of Armagedon, Its dueled with Chaotic warships above many worlds in the Gothic Wars, and most recently served as a Battlegroup Lead, in the 13th Black Crusade, With such age slowly wearing the vessel down from its prime, accidents are bound to erupt, in a routine transit though the nebulous and chaotic immaterial known as Warp Space, the Vessels Navigator was striken dead, and the vessel left to drift on the ebbs and flows of space time, after ten centuries drift, the vessel appeared, like a carrot on a string, empty and devoid of life, the might runic vessel was far from home, its own time and even possibly its own dimension, It was boarded and crewed soon after its arrival, the mighty vessel know used for mercenary work, its illustrious and holy service unknown to those aboard, its past glories now seemingly impossibly far and distant from the guiding light of the Emperor's Sight on Terra.

Having played on a private server until now, My First Mate and I are seeking a new haven! We hereby request any good servers come on up and tell us loud and proud!
