Bug Flashing/ Invisible Chunks

Hi, I just bought the game today and Im having this issue where random chunks in the game flicker/go invisible for 1 sec and then switches to a different chunk.

I have looked at all of the other threads that troubleshoot this issue but none of those solutions seem to work.

I ran the SMC tool and everything passed (Windows 7 64 bit, Latest 64 bit Java and uptodate Drivers)

My System specs are:

CPU: AMD FX 9590 8-Core 4.7 GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 290x 8GB
OS: Windows 7 64 Bit
RAM: 16 GB

totally missed this thread.
what game version are you running at ?
will take a look into this after work.

First thing ... switch from realistic texture pack to default. the realistic pack is not supported at the moment (and will mostlikely be discontinued afaik)

i did load in your settings to my game (nearly killed my PC ) but i have no flickering or missing parts. On what Game Version did you experience the problem ?

forgot : you may want to open your settings.cfg with a notepad and change
G_USE_VBO_MAP to false. that may reduce flickering too.
