Firing weapons in directions other than forward?

Hi guys! There seems to be an issue, particularly with the salvage beams, where the beams will always fire forward regardless of the orientation of the beam blocks. I read on the forum that you have to turn the computer in the direction you want so I tested that also. The salvage beams still fire forward even though the computer AND the beam directions are facing a different direction.

They will fire where ever you click.

Whereever you click so long as it\'s FORWARD. I want salvage beams on the bottom of my ship pointed downward so I can land on a planet and drill. I\'d rather not land on a planet nose down to drill. All the weapons have a front face, but the facing of the weapons themselves don\'t seem to matter at all.

Yeah, well it may be a bug.

You must operate the computer directly, not from the core, think of it as q gunners computer, then you will be able to fire other directions
