Fighter Trail

To start, I'm a big Homeworld fan, and after seeing the missile trail affect I immediately thought of this:

So with the upcoming custom effects, it would be awesome for option to make that trail with a normal or custom light block to apply it on any ship.

In my case, I'm making a fleet (strike craft are done, Ion frigate done) based of the Taiidan Republic and having trails for my strike craft would really give it a Homeworld feel.

If there it´s a way to do that without lagging the game its a real nice new feature.

As long as one doesn't go over board I don't think it'll be a big problem, considering how the missile trails are now.
