Calling all shipwrights!
I'd like to see your fighter designs. Extra credit will be given for designs that will fit into a 7x7x7 docking box. I have some pretty neat expeditionary ship designs and I want something to put in them.

Yeah, 7x7x7 is incredibly small. I hope you aren't hoping that these fighters are at all practical or viable.

Yeah I'm not building anything until the new mechanics are balanced. I tried to kill an Isanth-VII (Isanth-VI with lots of shields and a smooth hull) in my Primary Assault fighter today and I was shooting it for 15 minutes before I gave up.

At 7x7x7 its not really a fighter more so a drone, but anyways here's my entry. Its a 7x7x6 Ion- Lasers slaved to AMCs for more ticks per second to prevent shields from having any time to start coming up again. It's Main use is for assisting larger ships in taking down enemy shields. replace Ions with Power drain and you have a nasty combo if you pair the shield depleting drones with the energy draining drones. since there is another layer left for your 7x7x7 rule you theoretically could put radar jammers on the thing also.

Good for killing astronauts and other tiny tiny ships. AWFUL for anything else. Has a tiny, tiny nuke. Don't shoot your eye out.
