The gameworld is huge.and the playercount is low. we need a method that quickly takes us back to our space stations, to our friends, to our becons. It's horrible in multiplayer at the moment. I've had five people in the same server as me and i never saw any of them.
Entities
1: a beacon. This would boast the world of the beacon's location. Be it a ship, a plannet or a spacestation. it could even be a horrible trap set by pirates.
2: an ftl engine block. this'd be something that opens a wormhole infront of the ship or turns your ship into a bolt of light. It'd need to be charged up and it would need to have a cooldown after each use so that it doesn't get abused. Clumping them together would make them more efficient, but having a larger ship would make them less efficient.
3: a navigation computer type block, for use with the engine.
