Faction Salvage Problems

I have noticed that empty faction module protected ships can be salvaged by any other ship. Is this a bug or is this intended?

i dont believe so, last week i think i got a message when i hit an allied space station and ship that you cannot harvest allied ships. not entirely sure when/why that changed, but the latest version you can destroy/target faction allied ships just fine...

You must\'ve tried to salvage a faction home / faction home docked ship, and that doesn\'t work, but people can still salvage faction ships anywhere else. :l this is a real problem since I can\'t even get out of my ship to walk around the deck when other ships are nearby since they could just salvage me T_T

That is why you kill the other ships and don\'t hang around spawn, because there is no point.
