If you need Euro corp to give you money you couldnt earn yourself, you are lazy but i guess you are dependent on other people and not yourself or your faction. My statement was really in reguards to how does getting money get you members, but of course you didnt answer that.

Euro corp and DFN has offered us supplies to start up on HSZ. I have actually even turned down some help since I didn\'t want the Militia to become dependent, which we aren\'t. And to answer your question, If one has credits, one can buy ships for if one doesn\'t have said ships players wont have anything to fly, resulting in no recruits. Therefor more players will join a faction if the faction is already established.

Now that is a good answer, yes new recruits will want to join an established faction, and not a poor one at that. Its good to be independent as well. I also find that a faction with to much money can drive new players away because of lack of struggle, adventure, or lack of activities except for building. Many like contributing to a factions wealth, proving there worth in it, and enabling the faction to have more ships. A faction I think should have a balance of money, income, and expenses. New recruits shouldn\'t be given capital ships until they earned them.
