Among the possible attributes of rare planets , it appears this was never suggested before - altering their gravity in unnatural ways.
The simplest change is reversing surface gravity - causing you to fall upwards as you approach the planet. It means you could only stand below overhang formations (such as alien vines) and caves , but not on top of solid terrain. Planetary bases would look very curious with upside-down catwalks and stairs to walk on. Plexlifts would not be of much use though.
Then , to make things more interesting , you can switch the direction of gravity periodically or at random. It might be possible to spin the gravity in arbitrary directions , but that might give some people motion sickness...
