A trader's pack on his back, an ancient and worn sword at his side. His back is bent with cares, his eyes downcast. The long banked fires of his spirit keep him trudging, but without direction. There can be no easing of his burden, for it is his. It is him.
Mikhail was born to the second officer of a slower-than-light colony ship, en rout to a distant system. The Crew were mostly Slavic, from the old Russian confederation Submarine service, and the passengers were a mix of Slavic and Chinese. FTL Travel was perfected mere decades after the launching of the Святая Анна, But no one thought to locate the ship, or interrupt the decades long journey. Arriving at Tau Ceti, The Svyataya Anna's crew came to the startling realization that a: We are not alone in the universe, b: we are not IMPORTANT TO the universe, and C: Earth was destroyed, everyone is on the run.
In subsequent decades, Mikhail grew up a guerrilla fighter, guarding his dwindling people in an ancient fighter, built on the shores of the Baltic sea, until one day he returned from a patrol to find the Anna destroyed, cause unknown. Now, years later, he plies space as a trader, no longer energetic in his quest for revenge for a slaughtered people and planet.
Plans:
Rebuild the Sofiya, and wander the stars, trading. Playing a mostly passive role, to check out the server and keep in touch. Delivering materials for players to use.
