    a block that gets triggered when enemy objects come within turret shooting range

    and like a logic block gives a output 0 and 1
    and is connectable to the other logic blocks

    and perhaps a menu to set a number of parameters like range, time to remain alerted or stay alerted as long as enemy objects are near, and mby select a alarm sound :3 << or the have it as a separate block that can be triggered.

    and perhaps an option to link it to the sensor computer to amplify its detection range

    they can be nice for stations or ships that can go into alarm mode and start closing or opening doors etc

    Not a bad idea at all, though, I think I'd prefer something as simple as a logic output from a scanner computer which would allow the player to do some of this.
