the solution is simple, limit the warpgate's power bank. not all ships that fit in will warp, the more mass your ship has the more power needed to warp it.

May I recommend someone setting up a billboard for getting into the gate network at spawn?

Just a cheap piece of crap with lights and display modules, really.

rimmer said not to build at spawn.
i built a gate net before the reset at spawn and it had a large range.

Alright guys, an incursion by someone from evil Inc through our gates mean some defensive measure are needed.

4-8 small point defense turret should cover the gate's exit point to stop cloak + jammer vessels from being able to abuse the gates. The cloak may malfunction as they jump, and hopefully the turrets will deal sufficient damage to slow enemy's regen and take their cloaking ability.

Well, the way i see it, we could just have gate "cages", where there is one gate on one side, and another on the other side, and both are connected by a cage, with a small area for exiting to drop supplies (I.E a person sized door)

For trade, it has to be faction to faction HQ, it isn't a network for travel, but trade. Given the faction who sets one up should have their hub be at their base not at spawn.

I disagree with having the warpage go to the base, an outpost maybe,SF likes too fragment its departments over several locations, and logistics doesn't operate from the homebase.

Well, for me, faction war have "limits".

We do not set up multi million DPS turret outside home bases, that is just a bad and mean move.

Against Sam who loves using alternate accounts, abusing, uplink, and impersonating members we will do what I said.

Now, back to much trade. Anyone here got some charged Varat Circuit as well as it's wedges?
