Docking

    These are my small suggestions about docking.

    1. Docking beam should come from the cockpit that you are in instead of always coming from the core.
    2. ships should automatically dock with the ship centered in the docking port instead of with the core over the dock. Thus allowing asymmetrical ships to dock with out all the extra space needed on the sides/ front and back.

    What about being able to adjust the minimum size more? the default height requirement really wastes space on light carriers with sleeker-designed fighters.

    I agree, especially with the docking beam suggestion.

    It sucks that the beam is so short.

    I 100% agree with this. It would solve many problems players have with docking large ships.

    That one ship has been cored and recovered 3 times now. We finally dismantled the thing earlier today.

    It would make docking my larger ships and the larger DFN ships much much easier. Right now its a matter of jabbing the damn ship against a docking port and flailing around, hoping it docks.
