Docking bug?

From my understanding, ships dock facing forward in relation to "glactic north" (Also know as the direction you face when you press C)

I made a docking port on a planet where the ships face inward to the landmass, and you have to back out from the ports.

Ive moved out to make a space station, and assumed the same facing principles applied, so I made a dock for one of my larger ships, put on enough enhancers to make the dock fit, but when I dock my ship, it is instead ofacing "Galactic east" rather then "north".

Is this a big?

If you dock to something your ship will look into the same direction as the ship/station/planet you\'re docking to, unfortunatly ship cores, stations and co always spawn facing to east instead of north. Guess which direction your station is facing to.

So planet default facing is north, and everything else is east? And the pre-programmed key for leveling out points north as well. Who though this was a good idea?
