With the new thrust mechanic will docked thrusters draw power from themselves and the mothership or just the mothership?

They seem to pull directly from the mothership. I have thrusters chain docked to a reactor and the additional power required for them is directly added to the power required for the main ships thrust

What'd happen if we had a ton of forward/backward setup thrusters while the main ship was pure rotation or can we do that?

no the thrust of docked entities is just added to your mothership's total thrust, so I think everything is submitted to the mothership thrust setting. But you can do something that's just rotationnal thrusters and forward/backward thrust (50% each) that should do the same

    mothership's power =(
    =( indeed

Thought maybe this would be a workaround for docked reactors. Also the idea of taking out a large ships thrusters would have been cool.
