After updating the game, I decided to play again. I created a new universe, found a planet, got my basic factory setup, got some resources, then logged out and went to bed. Logged back in, no ship, no factory blocks, nothing. And, I believe the resources I took from the planet are back. It is like the universe reset to the original when I logged out and back in.
Tried again. New universe, etc. Was on a planet, no pirates, in a cave, hidden. Lots of mining, had my basic ship and factories going. Logged out and back in, nothing. All the resources I mined in the cave are back.
Suicided, respawned at shop, bought the stuff for another ship, headed to the next system where I had built my base. Galactic Map showed that my faction owned the sector. When I arrived at my base site, no ship or blocks were present, including no Faction Module. However, I still owned that system. I placed a new Faction Module, and took possession of the system again. It did not show that I owned the system, or anyone else.
System ownership was valid before landing, I mined and got the bonus before placing the replacement Faction Module.
Finally, when replacing my factory blocks and threw in some of my mined resources, which started processing immediately, with no power generator blocks placed. There had been two which had disappeared, but they were still generating power.
The places where the disappeared blocks had been were not blocked, I was able to replace the factories, etc. as previously. They did place, and were no longer in inventory.
Single player, 0.1885, WIN 8.1, all updated and drivers updated, etc.
This is beyond annoying, it is unplayable. Was not like this before the update.
Any solution to this?
