I came a cross this bug when I wanted to get some stuff off a planet. I went in my smaller shuttle because my main cant take off of a planet. when I got the items I wanted I went back to my ship,only to see there was a hole where the core should be (an intire section was gone) along with a few more random holes.
the distance from me on the planet to the ship was at most 1km. the main ship has about 71000 blocks.but amount of blocks isnt the ploblem because it has also happend to me with docked turrets and shuttles with less than 100 blocks
