I believe that the should benifit for having more blocks like every other weapon in the game. The more blocks you have the bigger and more damage the explosion they should do. They should also be configurable like the other guns. You should be able to downsize the explosion and up the damage and vice-versa.

Well apparently they do benefit but only to a certain degree.
