Intro

I've been playing Starmade for a while now, together with my dear friend deathBob.
We have very compatible building styles and work well together.

I wanted to share with you what we've been building so far.
Hoping for some feedback and to share what I enjoy doing
Hope you enjoy watching our creations!
If you want a blueprint or more screenshots, let me know.

Note: while most ships are made from scratch,
some or heavily inspired by existing designs (a few from EVE online for example).
Some are even based on imported 3D models.

I always try to make nice looking vessels.
But sometimes you need a ship with really good systems.
I tend to make cube-like ships for these purposes,
because the box-dimensions for energy are easy and efficient.

Cloud idea

for our latest station we had an idea.
split the station into 2 parts:
1 part is homebase, with the shop module, undeathinator
and factories.

the 2nd part is undockable and holds the shipyard and turrets.
you can move this 2nd part to any new location and invade.
like a mobile home
then make a new station and dock it again if needed...

it holds:

4 x medium turret dock (long range cannons)
4 x small ship dock (utility vessels)
4 x medium ship dock (fighters)
1 x big ship dock (fighter)
48 x small ship docks (drones)

The claw fighter looks very similar to my old templar fighter oddly enough. I take it its based off the amarr fighter?

Actually that is my old fighter but repainted and with a few changes made to the back section.

it's became a bit of a theme, but on some parts might be too much
I will try keep it in mind, maybe try building some ships without any.

Then when I made the Claw ship, i realised it was a nice fit to put on one of the arms..

It's very old indeed!
Think i made it over a year before i started on the Claw ship (and even that's months old)
(hope you noticed it's attached to the left arm of the Claw ship, almost like a turret)

Cool nice to know where it came from!

I have been looking to EVE Online for inspiration a few times.
Some of those ships I think are really hard to build, because of the round shapes.

But I love to help make a few ships for your server, in any theme/color you want
Would be a nice challenge and I like your idea too

Raiben from Mushroomfleet gave me a copy of an unfinished ship.
Kinda fun to making something different from my usual, and takes someone else his idea and continue on it.
Anyway I'm working on finishing the exterior.
It's been a few days, this is the result so far
