Date for when creatures/aliens are to be added?

The title pretty much says all. I would like to know when (if someone knows :P ) creatures will be added into the game.

Also what is the "Quad" in the StarMade\data\models\character folder? It seems to be a creature.

This will answer your first question, there is no official date.

I suppose the Quad is some sort of doodle that was never yet implemented. I did see - in a video of a devbuild somewhere, that spiderlike creature being all stationary.

As for dev release dates, impossibruuuu. You can't set a date for when something should be finished, because that leads to rushing it. And rushing stuff in game development is bad, especially this early in alpha.
