Custom Space Stations??

Hi there, just wondering if it is possible ot make a custom stationary space station, similar to the static ones in the game?

I have tryed using Build Blocks to start the station but is say unable to enter, is this just a case of the feature not been added yet to create a station from scratch or am i doing something wrong?

I am able to add a block to an existng station and take over the station that way, but id rather create a new on for scratch

you need to press M instead, and also have 1mil spare credits, then you add a build block to it, to make the editing more easy. i havent tried making a space station yet beyond a simple platform, ill let you know if you can save em later after i tried

nope there is at the moment no way to save a space station...

hopfully at one time there will be.

The space station block you buy is actually justa piece of grey hull, it can\'t be entered or anything, it\'s effectively useless, you can even remove it afterwards.

Hello, I\'ve played the game for quite some time now and I can confirm what is at the comments above I have make quite a large station (here is a picture of it: http://gyazo.com/07e784073912ec5a6869e26359be94c7) and I am still expanding it. You can also place turrets on the station that will keep enemies away. Also I have put on some shields, they seem to be working without a spaceship core attatched to them.

Thanks guys, should of really checked the options :P

been trying to figure that out for ages, time to get cracking this station wont build itself
