    This is strictly a suggested guide for ships. It is designed to accomodate ALL builders of ALL scales.

    Feel free to post your ship with its class here!

    This ship scale is designed to class a ship based on role and mass.
    You decide the role and find what mass category it falls under.




    The following ship descriptions are a SUGGESTED GUIDE.

    Fighter:
    Fighters are piloted by a single person, they are normally small, cheap and nimble.
    1 turret, 1 crew
    -4:1 thrust to mass ratio.
    -Focused on offence.

    Bomber:
    Bombers are essentially Fighters with missiles strapped to them.
    -4:1 thrust to mass ratio.
    -Focused on offence.

    Cruiser:
    -Cruisers have a maximum of
    -7 turrets maximum, crew of 10
    -2:1 thrust to mass ratio.
    -Focused on defense.

    Frigate:
    Frigates are designed for transport and light defense.
    -15 turrets maximum, crew of 20.
    -They normally have 1:1 thrust to mass ratio.
    -Balanced between offence and defense.

    Battleship:
    Battleships are designed to dominate the battlefield.
    -35 turrets maximum, crew of 40.
    -1:2 thrust to mass ratio.
    -Focused on offence.

    Destroyer:
    Destroyers are the harbingers of destruction. They are engineered for pure destruction.
    -50 turrets maximum, crew of 60.
    -1:3 thrust to mass ratio.
    -Focused on offence.

    Warship:
    Warships are meant to be the last thing your opponent lays eyes on. They possess the very best in weapons technology
    -90 turrets maximum, crew of 100.
    -1:4 thrust to mass ratio.
    -Focused on offense.

    Flagship:
    Flagships are the centerpiece of a faction or company. Normally extravagant works of art designed to show off new technologies and designs.
    -150 turrets maximum, crew of 175.
    -1:1 thrust to mass ratio.
    -Balance of offence and defense.

    Capital:
    Capital ships are the command centre for militias, they are nigh undefeatable and are capable of untold destruction.
    -350 turrets maximum, crew of 400
    -1:8 thrust to mass ratio
    -Immense offensive and defensive capabilities.

    Titan:
    Titans are monstrous machines. They normally take the form of a city ship or mobile station, generally not designed for use in battles, they are often used as a home for thousands of refugees.
    -700 turrets max, crew of 1,500+
    -1:20 thrust to mass ratio
    -Immense defensive capabilities.

    The only problem I have with this is the fact you can have a \'fighter\' with a mass of over 1,000,000, or a titan that\'s only 100 mass.

    It is designed to accomodate everyones ship, no matter their build scale.

    Role is decided by the builder, Ship callsign is decided by ship role + scale.
