Crash on launch GLX error?

Hello all. i decided to get this game from a friend talking so heavily about it and upon installing and launching got a bizarre error im not sure what its related to as i did sign in with my starmade account. down below is the screen shot of the error thank you for helping.

looks a bit like the window manager did not accept the window, or has no opengl support for the x-window manager.
I assume your WM has a problem with opengl applications, make sure support for it is installed.

thank you ill consult the packagers and see if they can help resolve this problem or if im missing dependencies.
