cloak and jammer question

do cloakers and jammers benefit from being grouped together?
like the cannons and missles. will having a big cluster of them reduce the power drain they have?

No, but more of them are needed to cover a bigger mass ship i think

ok cool.
personally i think the current cloaking and jamming costs are WAY too high.
makes it impossible to fully hide a ship, and have said ship actually useful.

i want a small-medium ship i can fully hide indefinately so i can use it for surgical strikes.
fly in hidden, unhide blast them, hide again and repeat.

would also be cool to have medium-large sized ships to be able fully hide so they can do sneak attacks.

No it is possible to build large ships with jamming and cloaking its all about producing a good power gen rate.

i have seen that, and the ship built is pretty useless in the game.

the dev needs to take another look at the stealth systems and make them more efficient.

also theres no real good ship designes for stealth ships they all are butt ugly.

Dunno about useless. I had success with the ship in PVP.



Basically watch the vid and copy the power system. Then duplicate the power gen design 3 or 4 times but make sure none of them touch and you then have 4x the power as all power gen 6 way line designs give huge power boosts. You can make large ships that can cloak. I am building one at the moment. Plus you can make the ships look a lot more \'normal\'
