    So after having some serious withdrawals from not having Firey Balls of Fire working properly, I decided to 'fix' the default shaders.
    I upped the sample count to 350, removed the whitewall glare, and allowed the god-rays to project across the entire screen.

    I'm still tweaking it to try and make it perfect, but since this is a screenshot thread, have some screenshots! :D

    It should be said that this absolutely brutalises performace.
    I go from 600+fps without bloom to about 50 with this shader active, and having no entities loaded.
    This is not designed for gameplay. This is designed for screenshots. xD

    I'm guessing the godrays are the major performance drawback, so if you decrease them, it would be better performance wise? I'm rather intrigued because the star retains its color when obstructed (which is not true for vanilla stars, sadly).

    The drawback is actually the sample count. If I lower it to the default 30, it runs much faster, but the god-rays become very rough. As in, you can see the sample 'layers'.
