so, just like changing rail basic to rail rotator,
please let us change light color with logic like rail

    it works like this

Red Light next to Logic A
White Light next to Logic B

    C Logic A, V targeted light
    C Logic B, V targeted light

1.)Activate Logic A, targeted light change to red(on)
2.)Activate Logic B, targeted light change to white(on)
3.)deactivate Logic A, targeted light change to red(off)
4.)deactivate Logic B, targeted light change to white(off)
5.)Activate Logic B, targeted light change to white(on)

This would allow for large 'displays' but would work better if all 'off' textures were the same for all the different colored lights like a really dark gray/black and switching only switched the color. On/off states should be left to the current method.

that is also a good idea, less complex

I have indeed also been longing for that option for a long time, personally I'd like to use them in my hangars. But more importantly, I want to use them to indicate conditions, like in Star Trek; 'Condition Green', 'Yellow Alert', 'Red Alert' and 'Condition Blue' for landing.

I know this thread is old, but if anyone sees this again, you can put three blocks horizontally over a rail rotator then put lights on the ends, have the intended light show through a hole, then the state changes and the rotator turns it 180 to show the other light. Or you could do it using a second horizontal pole that is easier to limit.

I know I made little sense.
