probably one of the most unused logic blocks, Trigger (Step on)s do have their merits but most of the time people don't use them (IMO) is because they stand out too much. They only work in gravity and you need to place them in the floor which can really break up a well designed room. Not to mention if you wanted to create a trap with them you're outta luck since anyone would be able to see them coming.
Now that we have slabs I think its time to convert Trigger (Step On)s into pressure plates similar to Minecraft. In terms of design they would mimic a grey hull 1/4 slab so they won't stand out as much. when you walk onto them they will act similar to Trigger (Area)s. This way players won't know they stepped on it. Perhaps as a visual cue the sides of the trigger (step on) will flash blue to resemble the on state while in the off state it looks identical to a grey hull slab. Other than that it would function just like it normally does.
