In the community of Starmade there is often generalizations about two cliques or groups of players. The term PVPer and Carebear are often used to describe styles of play/server.
IMO the PVP crowd are playing the Meta-game and do a valuable service of testing the balance of the current version of the game. The Care-Bear servers are creating a less stressful environment for players who are tentatively trying out MP, perhaps for the first time, and helping newer players with building and SM in general.
Both groups are serving the development of SM and deserve to be recognized for their contributions. As classifications though, these titles are lacking something. We can do better people. Does anyone have a thought about this? Are there better terms we can use? If not we are going to be stuck with them.
