Capture the Flag Game Mode Interest?

    Would anybody be interested in playing on a Server with a Capture the Flag type game mode?

    So here's the premise:
    There would be 9 invulnerable mini bases, and 3 teams (Red, Blue, Green). first team to capture and keep 7 bases for 24 hours wins.

    The idea being that the bases would have logic in them. A team member would push the button of their color which would claim the base for their team. There would be a central base in the middle at sector 0,0,0 which would show the status of the war.

    To protect your base you could build another base around it to protect it(no home base invulnerability). Or you could build a fleet of ships, or you could have members of your team standing guard. The possibilities are endless.

    To capture that base all you would have to do is press your button at the base. To make it a bit more challenging could setup a 60 second timer. you press a button for the timer, and after 60 seconds you then get to press your teams button.

    Every base would have an unlimited shop. and for every hour you control a base you would get a million credits per base controlled.

    Would anybody be interested in this type of game mode?
    Does anybody have any ideas that could make this game more better?

    So here's the LvD Premise:
    There are 10 invulnerable mini bases and 3 main teams, subdivided into hundreds of subteams. Capturing an outpost and holding it for 24 hours gives you access to a resource freighter that arrives daily with lots of resources. The more outposts you capture the higher the reward. 4 light outpost work in a chain (the more owned the better) and 4 dark outposts work in a chain (the more owned the better). Aside from the daily freighter arrival, if either your faction or your alignment owns an outpost you are eligible to do a daily quest called Light/Dark Capture Point Bonus Quest wherein you press a button and get an array of different materials featuring bonus blocks otherwise not found in the game.

    The idea is that the bases are bases and there are a lot of complex logical and scripting setups in place. A team member can write !capture when in the near vicinity of the base and initiate capture time (long route) or destroy the faction module on the pre-existing 'flag', capturing in a quicker way. There is a command that allows any alignment to check the status of the war !capture list. Moreover, this is reported regularly on the server's discord.

    To capture all you have to do is type in a few words in chat initiated the capture process. To make it a bit more challenging, a notification is sent on discord to the alignment who previously owned it that their point is under attack.

    Every base technically has an unlimited amount of generated materials, and for every day you control the base you get thousands of valuable materials depending on the type of base you control.

    People are interested in this type of game mode.

    If there were many scripters working together we could have more and more of these features at a faster rate, potentially spreading across a couple of servers.

    Are these games constantly running or are they offline and come on for set time frames?

    In LvD it's constantly running. And everything is automated. The prizes that involve freighters are in a set time frame and even that is automated.

    Noticed some holes in your server's rules. Turret mass limits (if any)? What about Fixed Turrets (AKA Docked AI Guns)? Same thing with Turret plates (Basically docked AI guns built in as armor or hidden guns within the ship or outside it)?

    That said it does make things interesting, haven't picked a side yet because I'm busy getting a few ships ready to upload and a couple of new stations. :)
