cant connect to server

hey, one of my friends has set up a server, the server works there are 4 prople on it normaly, and i cant connect. ive tryed everything i can think of from updating java to turning off my firewall completely. anything anyone can suggest?

have you tried connecting to other servers than just that one?

It may be on their side, as I have no problem what so ever. You should try going to the server forum, and find a random one to connect to. If that does not work, try renaming the starmade folder, and running the updater again.

i have tryed to connect to like, 5 difrent servers, cant connect to a single one unless i go though hamachi
