I have been fine connecting up untill about the 30th of April, then I belive an update cam out and the official server reset.
Now I can only ever connect to multiplayer if am using a fresh install. this still only works if I dont change any of the settings, if I do, it wont connect again.

Also I have been having the audio problem where it echoes. I only discoverd this was not normal after I played on my laptop, and the audio sounded good, rather than the mess it is on my desktop.
UPDATE:
ok, looks like this problem is only with the official US server, 108.61.95.29:4242 works fine.
However, the persistant sound issues are very annoying. I already have the lastest drivers ect.
