Cannot salvage planet

Sounds like it may be a Lag related issue? Does it happen on Servers or single player?

I had this on singleplayer, and it happened right after I got a popup about some error. Physics problem or something.

Even without this, it is still sad to not be able to salvage straight though a planet anymore.

I've just had this problem. I got stranded on a planet after my small ship got stuck in the floor and couldn't destroy or mine anything. I had to build a tower straight up into space to jump back onto my main ship which was in orbit. Once I got back on my ship my salvage beams didnt work either.

Although yesterday I could salvage an ice planet no problem from my ship.
