Can you put gun turrrets inside a ship?

I have a cool looking ship and hate the way the it looks with Turrets all over it. If I were to place the Turrets inside the ship would the guns just hit the inside and not travel out?

They would hit the inside if their weapon ends outside.Turrets clip with the mothership, when turning, so you could hide it.

Unless it has been fixed \"While they *should* hit the inside of the ship\" They didn\'t(when I tested it)... the bullets actaualy no-clip any thing that\'s docked...

Example: My Secure hanger( PRE-shield nerf when stations like this worked ) The turrets on the sides could actauly shoot through the hanger and engage mobs on the oposite sides...
