Can you enter cordinates in the gps thing?

The plot path thing. If no, why not? I want to be able to give my friends a certain cordinates, so they can put them there and walk where I am.

I dont use factions because it gives away your position too easy for now. It doesn't make sense that you can see people's bases positions as soon as you create a faction, so im sticking with not using one for now.

Open up the nav menu (N) and in the upper left you can set a destination sector with it's coordinates. You can also use the galaxy map and click the button that says "plot to current" or something along those lines. It will set it as a highlighted target that you can approach and will also draw a direct line between you and the destination sector.

Just so you know, you can claim a faction homebase without also claiming the system it's in. You get an invincible base without it showing up on the map!

You should really consider claiming some territory though. That 12x mining bonus is very, very handy.
